The PMHP is a cross-country partner of the PRogramme for Improving Mental Health CarE (PRIME).
PRIME is a consortium of research institutions and Ministries of Health in five countries: Ethiopia, India, Nepal, South Africa and Uganda. The consortium has partners in the UK and the World Health Organisation (WHO) and aims to ensure uptake of world-class research on policy implementation and service scale-up. PRIME is supported by the UK government’s Department for International Development (DFID), and is a six year programme which was launched in May 2011.
