Sasha is an adult psychiatrist recently working in Sydney. She completed her medical degree at UCT, worked as a hospital doctor for a few years before moving to the UK and Australia where she received a fellowship in 2013. She works in a high-security gaol with dual diagnosis and complex patients. She also co-manages the “pregnant in prison program ” and works in an acute mental health setting. Once a month she runs a clinic attached to a homeless shelter and methadone service. She is interested in perinatal mental health, improving outcomes for those with early childhood trauma and psychotherapy.
